Snake River with view to Teton Range in Wyoming – around 1941

I lived in Venice for a year near the church Madonna dell’Orto on the northside. I had the luck to have an appartment directly on the seaside so while making my pasta con pesto or whatever I always had a nice view of the water and sometime when the sky was clear I could also see the mountains on the mainland. Especially in winter Venice is stunning when the streets are deserted and because of that you get lost in this foggy labyrinth. It all seems so unreal and dreamlike.
