This is one of the best docudramas ever!
Also interessing is that Saadi Yacef, FLN’s military chief of the “Zone Autonome d’Alger” since May 1956, plays a character modeled on his own experiences in the battle.
The music is stunning, the photography is beautifull and the story is told with great care.
